Fall isn’t just for pumpkin spice lattes and cozy sweaters—it’s also prime time to get your home inspection-ready before the spring buying season.

If you're planning a spring sale, start preparing for the home inspection now.

Why prepare for an inspection instead of just waiting to see what happens?

Well, every home inspection will turn up some issues. It's practically a guarantee!

Even if you've kept your home in pristine condition, age and weather can take a toll. And while most inspection issues are minor, a lengthy report can give buyers the impression that your home hasn't been kept in tip-top shape, and they may ask for credits or concessions.

The more you can fix in advance, the more smoothly your deal is likely to go. If you have an older home, you might even consider a pre-inspection to give you exact insight on what you should prioritize.

Swipe for a few things you could do now to make your home more appealing to buyers and prevent last-minute headaches later.

Chicago was just ranked by experts as the top plac Chicago was just ranked by experts as the top place to live in the U.S.

It's me. I'm "experts."

Jokes aside, there are so many reasons why Chicago is a great place to live that it's hard to name them all in one social media post! Here are a few of them, though.

Commuting is simple! If you work in the city, there are endless public transportation options that are affordable and easy to use.

There's tons to do year-round - indoor and outdoors. Our parks district has lots of local programming year-round.

Our downtown area is super walkable. If you love to walk to coffee shops, post up at an all-day cafe with your laptop, or head out for date night, you can do all of that without calling an Uber.

Did I miss anything? What do you love about living in Chicago?
